As some of you may know, I placed an order from FanPlusFriend Costume Store for a Zero Kiryu costume from the anime Vampire Knight. We ordered the Day Class Uniform and had it custom-made for Peter’s size. And after enduring a lengthy trip to the post office, we finally have it!

Last May of this year, we got two Gold tier tickets to the event Cosplay Mania 2015, and as this was a grand event in the cosplay community, we want to make sure that we showed up in some kickass costumes and gear. Peter chose Zero Kiryu as his character to play and immediately I scoured the World Wide Web to find a reputable costume store online.

Can I just say how cute this bag is? I was not expecting it to have a labelled, dust-proof packaging but it worked to my pleasant surprise. I love it. It did not come in a box which was what I was initially expecting, but the way they packed the clothes was very sturdy and neat.

Clothes and Accessories

The jacket and vest are very detailed and feel very luxurious. They are lined, and have rose buttons which I think add a very nice touch to the costume. The armband is great too, and the pattern on it was transferred nicely and cleanly. The shirt could be of better quality, I admit, but it is up to standard as well. The same can be said with the neck-tie, I found it a little flimsy and short in length, but it was adequate.

The piece of clothing we were disappointed with was the pants. Not because it was not up to par; the pants were actually very good quality. It was just that it was not skinny-fit like we were expecting it to. Well, it can be remedied anyway. We may have it altered at a local tailor shop here, or we can just buy skinny pants of similar colour.

It looks amazing on him! He even wore his wig to see how his character would look overall. I'm really pleased with the way the costume was done. The communication between the store and myself was smooth and precise, they gave me exact information about what to expect. FanPlusFriend Costume Store really handled my transaction well.
